Loop gets your team running async standups in about five minutes. This guide walks you from a fresh sign-up to your first digest.

Create your workspace

Head to loop.example and sign up with your work email. Loop creates a workspace scoped to your email domain so teammates can join without an invite.

Connect Slack

Loop lives where your team already works. Connect Slack first so updates and nudges land in the right channel.

1. Open Settings → Integrations.
2. Click Add to Slack and approve the requested scopes.
3. Pick the channel where digests should post (we recommend #eng-standups).

Run your first standup

Create a standup and invite your team:

loop standup create --name "Platform daily" --time "09:30" --tz "America/New_York"

Or do it from the dashboard under Standups → New. Set the cadence, the timezone-aware send time, and which teammates participate.

What a teammate sees

When a standup opens, each participant gets a single prompt in Slack or the mobile app. They answer three questions:

• Shipped — what landed since the last update
• Blocked — anything stuck, with who can unblock it
• Next — what they're picking up today

Updates take about 90 seconds. Loop chases anyone who hasn't answered before the cutoff, so you never have to.
