Loop was started in 2024 by Maya Okafor and Renzo Castellanos after they spent two years running async standups inside a 200-person engineering org. They built Loop because nothing on the market read the actual content of the updates — only collected them.

Today the team is 14 people across Brooklyn, Lisbon, Berlin and Buenos Aires. We dogfood Loop daily; if you read the changelog, those are real shipping notes from real standups.

We're profitable, default-alive, and not interested in raising for the sake of raising.
